Stop, all of you just please stop. I have never seen this kind of bad behavior in my life. It doesn't seem to matter is you are poor or rich, all of you are acting stupid. Stop whining about what you don't have and what you might lose if you are taxed more. Start fighting for your nation. This isn't a child's game or a contest. This is about the very future of our nation.
You 99%, get a grip. How many things can you demand and expect to get. It doesn't matter to you that half your demands would not only destroy the economy but also violate the Constitution of the United States of America. I know you are hurting. I know you have seen your buying power drop to scary levels and many are either out of a job or scared they will be soon. It's a recession. The Carter recession had 11% unemployment and a 21% prime rate. While that might not matter to you because that was yesterday remember we got past that and we will this mess also. You don't have the right to home ownership. Many of us will never own a home and that's fine. If you got an ARM you are every bit as much to blame as the lender who give it to you. If you didn't put enough down so your payments wouldn't kill you the same thing applies. If you are driving the nicest car you could afford at the highest rate you could get then look in the mirror when you are angry at who got you in this mess.
Yes it's hard right now. Yet here you are reading this using your computer and the internet. While five thousand children will die tonight of hunger.
You 1%, stop being such jerks. Yes I know you worked damn hard for what you have and you pay most the taxes here. You also made all that with the help and labor of that other 99%. I don't begrude you anything you own or want to own. You earned it and its not my place to judge what you have and don't have. But this nation is in trouble and you helped cause that trouble. A few points more in taxes isn't going to hurt you or your family. You helped create this mess by loaning the 99% money to buy homes with an ARM you flat out knew would crash in time. You knew loaning money for that new car with a seven year loan would outlive the car and hurt someone.
All of you, stop acting like scared spoiled children and start acting like American's who will do what has to be done to fix this. Everyone is going to be hurt here and we should be. We made this mess and shame on us if we just pass it off to our children and their children. I feel sorry for the working poor. Those who live week to week and are one check away from disaster. The rest of you not so much. You made this mess. Not the poor who don't have the credit to ruin so they live within their income.
Everyone, stop demanding something from someone else. Tell us what you can do to make it better. Stop telling me what this politician will do that will harm us and tell me what the other one will do to help us instead. If your best point is the other guy is bad then you are just hiding what your guy is. Stop voting party and stop voting stupid. We hate congress but we love our local congressperson. We need to connect the two dots and make real change where it really matters.
Stop being the 99%, Stop being the 1 % and be the 100% American's we know we can all be. Stop demanding from the other guy and start expecting from yourself and those like you. Not one can change the other side. We can only change our own conduct and hope that's enough to change all those around us. If we don't do this together it's just not going to get done.
