I had been so careful to apply my sunscreen several times a day, and was really delighted with my skin.
I got up that morning, and it was cooler so I wore shorts, a top, hoodie, shoes, and sneakers. I walked along the water's edge until it was breakfast time. After eating I changed into my swimsuit, and made sure that I covered my body with the sunscreen.
At the water's edge I took off my socks and sneakers, walked in the water for awhile, and then sat on my chair. The sun was hot, and I didn't think about my feet not being protected.
When I got up to our timeshare apartment, my feet were slightly red, but the skin felt tight. I realized what I had done. So I went for my bottle of Ocean Potion Moisturizing Aloe Lotion. It comes in a clear plastic bottle, and you can see the really thick lotion inside. When you squeeze the outside it comes up like a thick whipped cream. It has a bright orange flip lid.
So I pressed down on the lid, and squeezed the bottle. It took a really long time for this thick lotion to come through the hole. It is white, and should be called a cream, as it is just that.
It has a light fragrance, which is okay with me. However, what is great, is the way it rubs into your skin. It disappears almost immediately, and within 15 seconds it isn't wet, or greasy. Your skin feels cool, and that is wonderful.
So the next day I checked on my feet, the red had gone, and the skin on my feet didn't feel tight.
On the bottle is states that it "Extends Tan Life, Made with Tea Tree Oil & Vitamins A, C, and E". It comes in an 8.5 fluid ounce (251 ml) bottle.
This after sun lotion is for repairing, and replenish the skin after exposure, to the sun. It will also help protect against peeling, and keeps your tan for a longer period of time, used on a regular basis.
Directions are:
"Apply freely to the skin. Reapply as needed to extend tan life especially after shower."
I was lucky enough to purchase Ocean Potion Moisturizing Lotion, at a drugstore, originally reduced down to $1.99, and then a final cost of just 99 cents. I have no idea why, because this is a great product, and really does take the heat out of the sun for you.
It is distributed by Sun & Skin Care Research, Inc.,
P.O. Box 236277,
Cocoa,
Fl 32923.
It is made in the U.S.A.
My Ocean Potion will be going along with me, for any future mishaps, with the sun.
