Oceans 12: A Star Studded Cast Returns for a Sequel

Oceans 12 is back with the same cast plus the addition of gorgeous actress Cathrine Zeta Jones. The same stars from the first film such as Geroge Clooney, Brad Pitt, Bernie Mac, Matt Damon, Don Chealde, and Julia Roberts all return in this action packed thriller. The film picks right up from the ending of the first film Oceans 11.

As you may recall, the ending from the first film had Andy Garcia who plays the role of the casino owner, following in pursuit of George Clooney's crew. In Oceans 12 the film starts off with George Clooney picking up a gift for his wife in the film Tes, played by Julia Roberts.

However, the scenes flash to Any Garcia, one by one finding each of the casino thieves who stole his money and telling them that he knows their identity and must pay him back or be killed. When Andy Garcia approaches Tes' house, she warns George Clooney over the phone and Clooney rushes to reassemble the old gang back together.

In their meeting, they try to figure out how they can get the money which with interest, amounts to over $100 million dollars, to pay back Andy Garica. The men realize that they are several million dollars short of the neccesary amount to pay Garcia back because they have all wasted their money.

Part of the reason it seems initially that Garcia has found Daniel Ocean's crew is because he was contacted by a thief known as the Night Fox, one of the greatest criminals ever in Europe who has a long list of items and places he has robbed. He is also, as we find out from Cathrine Zeta Jones, a student of the most famous thief of all named Lemarc who has never been caught. Catherine Zeta Jones plays the role of a government agent who solves robberies and catches thieves. During the movie she is also in a romantic relationship with Brad Pitt.

The relationship is quite weird because both people know the other's true identity, as a thief and as a cop but neither want their relationship to end. George Clooney and his crew discuss their options and decide to head to Europe in search of a high paying job. They have a run of bad luck as there are no stealing jobs avaliable. Finally, when they get a job, the task appears to be impossible as the item they want to steal is inside a house with expert security and the owner has never left the house.

In pulling off an amazing heist, they lower the house and are about to steal the item when they realize it is gone and was stolen before they ever got there by the Night Fox. When Clooney finally has a face to face meeting with the Night Fox, he learns that the Night Fox wants to set up a competition to see who the best thief is.

The object of the competition is to steal a very valuable golden piece of jewlery that is transported in a metal case with heavy security and the item never stays in the same place. The item is one of a kind and very expensive. Should Ocean's men win the event before the Night Fox steals the item, the Night Fox has agreed to pay off Ocean's debt to Andy Garcia.

In the plan that Ocean's men set up, they have bought a very expensive replica of the jewlery item and intend to switch the replica with the real item by blindsiding the cameras. However, unbeknownst to them, Catherine Zeta Jones has stolen Brad Pitt's cell phone and now knows the identities of most of Daniel Oceans' crew.

As the crew stands outside waiting in line to get into the museum on the day of the robbery, most of the crew are caught by police and thrown in jail. Brad Pitt and two other men are able to escape and devise a new clever plot to disguise Tes as Julia Robert which is kind of funny. In the scene Tes is supposed to act like Julia Roberts and carrying a baby. However when they try and switch the replica with the real jewlery, Catherine Zeta Jones catches them and everyone is thrown in jail

Towards the end, they are able to escape when Matt Damon's mother in the film bails them out and find out that Zeta Jones has forged paper work. In addition, they learn that the Night Fox had stolen the gem before they had a chance. However, in a surprise twist, Clooney reveals that all along he had the real jewlery with the help of Le Marc who told him who had held the real jewlery in the first place and where he could find it.

Viewers need to pay specical attention to this twist because it is difficult to understand the first time. The Night Fox is forced to pay off Ocean's debt to Andy Garica.

Also, Brad Pitt takes his girlfiriend to see her real father which is Le Marc. In the final scene, all of the characters unite and it ends with a happy ending.
