O'Charley's Restaurant in Fayetteville, Georgia -- an Eater's Review

I have yet to eat in an O'Charley's where I was not satisfied with the food or management did not adequately address any food issue. So, I had high expectations when I first visited the O'Charley's in Fayetteville, Georgia. I was not disappointed.

When I worked in Atlanta, there was an O'Charley's near my office and my group often met there for lunch. I don't think anyone can beat their chicken fingers and honey mustard sauce and can you say rolls from heaven. I changed jobs and there was no O'Charley's, so I was in withdrawal for a time. Then I moved to Fayetteville and what a pleasant surprise to find O'Charley's just five minutes from my house at 1350 Hwy. 85 N. I often find myself there for lunch-"totally by accident" I tell my family, when they find the bag of left over rolls on the counter.

I have eaten both lunch and dinner at the O'Charley's in Fayetteville, Georgia and found the portions to be generous, the flavors to be well mixed and the management to be attentive. As a matter of fact, the management is very attentive. They routinely circulate through the dining areas talking with customers and ensuring that they are enjoying their meals. If there are any problems, they discover them quickly and address them immediately. I even saw a manager get a broom and dustpan to clean up some spilled salt. Now that is hands on management.

The loaded potato soup and the house salad are my favorites for lunch. I have been eating at the O'Charley's in Fayetteville for over a year now and been very satisfied with the food and the service. There was one occasion when my guest ordered the grilled salmon and a portion of it was still raw. The small section that was not cooked was center of the thickest portion. As the fillet was large, my guest was not going to miss eating that small portion, but as good consumers, we brought it to management's attention. They apologized and brought us desert on the house. They always make it right.

The O'Charley's in Fayetteville has a brunch on Saturday and Sunday that draws a large crowd and Friday and Saturday nights can be very busy, so go early. They have curbside to go, but I recommend ordering early on busy nights. You can go online to see their menu. However, have a second choice, because I have found that the online menu is not necessarily up to date with what they are serving in the restaurant.

I confidently recommend the O'Charley's in Fayetteville, Georgia for lunch or dinner. Feel free to tell them I sent you!
