Octo-Mom Turns Down Free Housing and Help and Will Get Paid $1 Million to Be a Porn Star!

A friend of mine who lives in Los Angeles sent me some information about the Octo--Mom, or I'll use her real name Nadya Suleman.

I have not written anything about this woman though I have left comments on other peoples' pieces. I will state my opinion of her briefly and then tell you what my friend told me. It seems that the news (at least in my neck of the woods) hasn't reached here. Anyway, I totally agree with Oprah's Dr. Oz who called her "selfishly indulgent. " I agree with those who think the babies should be put up for adoption. I agree this mother is not fit to care for these babies. I think as a former social worker that I feel like crying at the enormity of Suleman's job. I can't imagine how she isn't. The fact she shows no emotion is scary to me.

It seems that the lawyer of a non-profit group called the Angels in Waiting said this mother of 14 turned down the group's offer to take care of all the children 24/7 and letting them all live in a house together - all 14 of them. The offer was made a couple of weeks ago. Mom had some time to think it over (huh? It should take about a nanosecond.) Sounds impossible, doesn't it? Well if you have seen the needy Nadya who has a void nothing will fill then you can believe it.

At first you might want to say that Suleman didn't want public donations. Now public donations are not welfare so don't say she said no for that reason. Are you sitting down - well for those of you who have followed this story you won't be surprised - Nadya wants to do a reality TV show. Have I convinced you that these kids should be taken away and before you tell me about John, Kate and 8 I saw Kate on Dr. Phil and there is no comparing them.

When I saw Nadya on Dr. Phil's show it seemed that three of the babies (micro preemies, he called them) were ready to come home but the hospital won't release them until she can take care of them safely. They have no income, nowhere to live that is safe and that may not go into foreclosure and is not in touch with reality!

Ok ready for another story? How about seeing Nadya "OctoMom" Suleman in a pornographic film. Yup, that's right. Vivid Entertainment has offered her up to $1 million for one movie. This comes with health insurance. I have to tell you that I would take the money for one movie. My gosh how the heck does she plan to take care of her kids and giving them up voluntarily is something she won't do. As an added feature to the Vivid deal she would be in good company with Pamela Anderson and Kim Kardashian.

Hey, Rob, thanks for reading and commenting. Yes she needs serious help. I can't imagine after this anyone would hire her - well maybe a pro-life group.

I understand she did turn down the porn gig and guess that's a positive sign. But not accepting housing when you have no housing is ridiculous. I hope family services in LA can sort this out. The idea is to keep families together as much as is possible, and I doubt her 8 bbaies could be adopted out, but they all might end up in foster care if she cannot adequately care for them. Frankly, she needs some intensive therapy - her link to reality is tenuous and she is fixated on her own wants and needs.

    Hey Jo,

    It's Rob from LetterRep.

This girl is not all there. Seriously. There's something wrong with her. To not accept the good-faith deal in favor of the porno is evidence enough. I mean, I understand. $1million is pretty good money but 14 kids are going to chew through that quickly. She'll probably need to make that her career and then look at the example she's setting for 14.

I say lock her up until she gets some help and give those children to responsible and needing couples.

Hope to hear from you soon.

This is so twisted a story (not your writing, but the so-called realities)!

It has been reported that Nadya turned down the million but in my writing world I can't confirm that.
