October 31 is the Day James and Lily Potter Died

October doesn't really belong to Halloween, the day that has become the biggest hit for kids next to Christmas. Since all hallows evening is best known for the evening before All Saints and Soul Days, this year James and Lily Potter seem to have taken over the realm of Halloween.

For those like me who don't follow the Harry Potter saga, James and Lily are this wizard boy's parents. Apparently they were either killed in a car crash or murdered by Voldemort 30 years ago.

Either way this fictional character's parents are dead. They died on this day 1981, the year before I graduated high school. Since I used that analogy for fictional characters, does the mean my high school graduation was a piece of fiction too? Some may say it was, while others will say no it wasn't.

Not all were happy to see "RIP James and Lily Potter" trending on Twitter. Some of the twitterites were kindly reminding the Potter fans, their trending topic of the day were fictional characters. Potterettes didn't mind they continued on with their tweets and trending topic of the day.

Some of the Potter fans are going to have a moment of silence at 3:00 PM in memory of two fictional characters of a fictional wizard in a fantasy world of magic and wizardry.

For this person, I would just assume watch "Hocus Pocus" followed watching the "Wizard of Oz." Then to round off the night, I would have to add "Practical Magic." At least there will be some laughing, crying, and a bit of freaked out by the flying monkeys before bedtime. Then again, "Merlin" may have to be added into the mix before bed.
