Sherman Oaks Street Fair
Hosted by the Chamber of Commerce
Sunday, October 17, 2010
10am - 6 pm.
Location: Along Ventura Blvd between Van Nuys Blvd. and Kester Ave.
Info: The Valley's largest free street fair, features food, music, games, prizes, pet contests, and hourly raffles.

Experience A Victorian Halloween
At the Heritage Square Museum's 7th Annual Halloween and Mourning Tours program
Saturday and Sunday, October, 23 -24, 2010
12pm - 4pm.
Location: 3800 Homer Street Los Angeles, California 90031
Info: Be put in the middle of Victorian-era rituals around death and mourning. Observe a funeral inside one of the historic homes. Sunday tours include family friendly activities. Children may come in costume play games and make 19th century harvest crafts.
Adults: $10.00; Seniors over 65 years: $8.00; Children, ages 6 to 12: $5.00. Museum members and children under 6 are admitted free of charge.

Los Angeles Taste of Soul Festival
Saturday, October 16, 2010
10 a.m. until 6 p.m
Location: on Crenshaw Blvd. between Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Rodeo Blvd.
Info: One-day urban festival features the best in soul food cuisine and live entertainment. Free parking available.
