Country Charm Farm Harvest Festival

The Country Charm Farm Harvest Festival takes place between September 30th and October 15th this year. It happens in New Paltz New York, which is located at the foothills of the beautiful Shawangunk Mountains. It is a gorgeous panoramic view, especially during autumn. It is a free event, where there is no charge for parking or admission. The Country Charm Farm Harvest Festival is well known in the Hudson valley for its life size scarecrows and many displays worth photographing. There is also a scenic hayride that is narrated to give a glimpse into the history of the attractions along the hayride route. The hayride costs $1.75 per adult and is well worth the price to experience the fresh air and bountiful autumn harvest beauty. The scarecrows are displayed as parts of entertaining scenes which are sure to set conversation abuzz. There is also a giant barn sale with lots of treasures and knick-knacks and treats from glassware to trinkets, wall hangings, lamps, framed art and other antique novelties. The scare crows are not your typical scare crows, but are dressed in costumes ranging from Elvis to Super heroes to celebrities to the charming folksy farmer. You can also pick your own pumpkins and buy gourds, Indian corn, mums and more! The kids can pull a little red wagon, provided on the premises for picking out their pumpkins in the pumpkin patch.

Festa Italiana In Manhattan
October 27 - October 28, 2006

This two day annual event is fun for the whole family. Doll Hair Spectacular (for girls age 6 and up)
