OctoMom Fires Angels in Waiting, Wants to Tell Her Side of the Story

And All Anybody Has Heard is Her Side of the Story

As soon as the news broke that Nadya Suleman had fired Angels in Waiting, the nonprofit nursing organization that has helped her with her children as the first of her octuplets have come home from the hospital, the media braced for another convoluted explanation from the OctoMom about her seemingly counterproductive behavior. There was no doubt that there would be varying versions of the story. With Nadya Suleman, it has become guaranteed.

According to the Associated Press, the OctoMom's lawyer and spokesman, Jeff Czech, announced Monday that Suleman had dismissed the four nurses that were helping her Sunday. Saying it was a "poor fit from the start," Czech said that Suleman had really never gotten over Gloria Allred, spokesperson and legal counsel for Angels in Waiting, filing a complaint with child protective services. He also said that she had had several confrontations with the nurses since Tuesday (when the first two of the octuplets were allowed to go home) and had heard that Linda West-Conforti, founder of Angels in Waiting, was preparing to file another complaint with child protective services against her.

Allred refused to talk about the situation on Monday but said they would respond with "true facts" on Tuesday. Apparently there is some disagreement on how the dismissal occurred.

But Angels in Waiting treasurer Jackie Peebles told People magazine that she was "really surprised" and had not heard that the nonprofit's nurses had been dismissed.

The nurses are supposed to make an appearance on "Dr. Phil" this week. Dr. Phil McGraw originally interceded and retained the services of Angels in Waiting for Nadya Suleman after negotiations broke down between the OctoMom and Linda West-Conforti when Suleman proposed a reality show. It has been reported that Suleman is afraid that the Angels in Waiting nurses are going to put her in a bad light and would like to have some time with Dr. Phil to explain her side of the story.

According to Czech, the OctoMom is relying on Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, the hospital where the octuplets were born, to help train nannies to help with the octuplets. Nadya Suleman is paying for the nannies' services herself.

Judging by Suleman's appearances on talk shows and her video blogs on Radar Online, it has become increasingly clear that Nadya Suleman is aggressively seeking more exposure for herself and her family, which numbers 14 children and herself. She made the comment that she also wants to write a book about her experiences.

And Suleman hasn't been subtle about her ambitions, either. Just days after having the octuplets (January 26), she reportedly said she would like to become a talk show consultant on family matters. It was just a few days later that the video cameras began documenting the octuplets and the OctoMom put up a website dedicated to them, asking for donations. She had hired a publicist. Then came the news that she'd turned down Angels In Waiting and Linda West-Conforti's revelations that Suleman had proposed allowing in a reality show. Then she hired a second publicist after the first one quit. All the while, Nadya Suleman appeared on talk show after talk show. She also has a video blog on Radar Online, is actually speaking openly about doing a reality show, and has stated she wants to write a tell-all book.

The octuplets aren't yet two months old. She has had two publicists quit on her. Suleman has turned down and fired Angels in Waiting. The OctoMom and her family have been swarmed by the paparazzi. She has been on countless talk shows. Controversy has become her middle name.

She may not have a reality show just yet, but she certainly is starring in her own little soap opera.

She's out to get rich at her kid's expense... but so are some others that have shows.. all you got to do is have 20 kids, or have a bunch of multiples and you are a freak show to have your own TV series.

HA! Your subtitle says it all.

I feel very bad for all of her children. None of them will ever have anything that even remotely resembles a "normal" life.

    She is one sick person.

i agree she needs serious help. She's not very smart, because anyone who has 14 kids would want the extra help. Shes just a very disturbed woman.

I knew those poor nurses wouldn't last long. I don't think this girl has the ability to make a good decision. She needs to have you-know-what sewn shut to prevent any future children!

The "OctoMom" needs to become the "TriMom" --keep three of the babies, have the rest placed with adoptive parents. A new arrangement needs to made for this oversize family -- as well as a plan for meeting the needs of each individual child. It's called "common sense".. oh, i forgot, the octomom is about "octosense"!!

She is vindictive little B##**ch....see the way she got back at her mother for making her look bad on camera (actually, Nadya made Nadya look bad, but that`s beside the point).

She, in fact the whole world, already knew that Gloria filed a report with CPS requesting an investigation after Nadya`s first refusal, before the first two Oct-preemies came home. So why is she suddenly surprised now?

Why did she put a gag order on her own mother? I would not read any book written by Nadya, but I would buy one written by her mother!

Give it 6 months and the babies will all be in foster care. She's a media junkie and is using those children as a way to get the publicity she craves.

This idiot has some nerve. Of course she fired the AIW Nurses. She got all this free stuff: house, carpet, floors, furniture, diapers..... So, now she doesn't need them. She only agreed to them so people would think that she had a brain and once we all fell for it and her more free stuff she dumped AIW because she didn't need them anymore. She is an absolute digrace to the human race.
