Octo-Mom Fires the Nannies - is She Going Crazy & Hearing Voices?

Don't Give Money to the Octo-Mom - Donate to the Octuplets

Zach Golt
Daily News reported that the octuplet mom Nadya Suleman fired her nurses. The octuplets were born on January 26, 2009. She is now that only woman, octuplet mother to have the longest set of surviving octuplets in the world. She brought her first two babies home on March 17, 2009. She accused the nurses of spying on her and her children. She was weary of the charity organization (Nurses: Angels in Waiting) that was helping her with her maternal duties. The octomom claimed that the nurses were spying, plotting, and setting her up for failire. Afraid, she fired them. The thought of the organization spying, and reporting back to child welfare officials scared her. According to Radaronline.com the octomom said the help, "brought in negative energy." The attorney representing Angels in Waiting refused to comment and told the press to hold their questions because she would "reveal the true facts."

The octomom was living unemployed at her parents' home, single, without work, and living off of food stamps, disability payments, and student loans. She also used up all of her parents retirement checks. She was also living with her parents and her six other kids. As soon as she had the kids the octomom was asking for money. She wanted money for her first interview out of the hospital after the babies. She also created a website where people can donate money directly into her paypal account.

The problem is her, not the children. Feeling bad for the kids and their situation I would still not donate any money into her account. Instead, I would buy things that I know would be of use to the kids. I would recommend sending diapers, baby formula, bottles, college fund, clothing, etc. If you want to donate, donate items that the babies will surely get, use or need. I would advise you not to give her any money that she can decide what to spend on. The octomom got a number of plastic surgery's done instead of helping her mother pay off her mortgage for the last year. She would rather get plastic surgery than save up money to move out of her parent's house and get her kids into a healthy environment. The free-rider has no sense of what is right. If you're somewhat intelligent you wouldn't donate money to her, because she's obviously in the wrong state of mind. Her child like comments and her inability to want to move forward puts her in negative a light.

It's completely disgusting how she is using her eight infant's fame to get money into her pocket. People would have been more generous and less critical if she didn't ask for money (& a show) the way she did. People all over the world are kind at heart, and would've kindly provided her items that she couldn't afford for her infants. It's unfortunate that her behavior is so easily repulsing and unpleasant. I wish the best for those infants because it looks like they are going to have their mother jumping into their pictures.

Let me know what you think - I would love to hear your comments!

I completely agree with you NICU nurse. Nadya is unqualified (along with the people she chose to represent her) to handle any decisions, and its clear that she feels that the everyone owes her something (money). Her attitude isn't getting my vote.

    Thank you for commenting!

I agree. I have very little respect for Dr Phil but I liked approach of assuring people that their donations would never be spent on Nadya's acrylic nails. I hope any donations AIW received stay with their foundation, their intentions seem good, too bad their spokespeople are so sour and unsympathetic. And they definitely need to drop Gloria Allred like a hot potato. What Nadya really needs to spend her money on (besides her children) is acting lessons so she can at least *pretend* to be humble and grateful. It's clear from her demeanor how superior and entitled she feels, and that attitude isn't likely to net her much sympathy (or money). I hope her (well-paid) lawyer puts a long term plan in place for these kids, their mom lacks the capacity to realize that the gravy train will dry up eventually.
