Friend to everyone, always a nice word to all
He's always been there rain or shine
He's given me good words when I needed them
And discipline when I deserved it
My best friend though
We built the cabin together
Although I was too young but to call for a game of fish
You took me fishing for the first time, hunting for the first time
Snowmobiles, four-wheeler's, and driving the truck on back roads
A lot of my best memories are with you and will stay with me in my heart
Riding sleds to the point of collapse, "breaking in" to Gary's cabin to warm up, sleep for a while
Taking the boundary water trips with the church kids
All of those activities that we did together shaped me into the person I am
And for that I will be eternally grateful for
