Moving mountains with their strength,
Soaring in the sun,
Loving and loved by all men.
I dwell in the shadows.
Some heroes banish the darkness,
I use it.
Some heroes face their fear,
I become it.
Some heroes fight for justice,
I am justice.
Criminals who walk the streets,
Bearing death and deprivation in their hands,
They hate the flyers and the web-shooters,
They fear me.
I am the dark wrath of the gods.
I am the shadows that war in the place of the light.
I am the terror that defends the fearful.
I do violence on the behalf of the peaceful.
I walk the line between justice and vengeance.
Then I cross the line and return unscathed.
My symbol is the warrior of the night.
My ally is the dark.
My friends are few; my enemies many.
My war never ends.
I am the Dark Knight.
I am Batman.
