Ode to Mister Sunshine
Oh Mister Sunshine, where have you been?
Mister Cloud and Rain have darkened my skies again.
How I wish you would shine your light.
Maybe then he'd be holding me in his arms so tight.
Oh Mister Sunshine, where have you gone?
It's been ages since your light has shone.
He once said he loved me, and would never leave.
So why has his family left me alone to grieve.
Oh Mister sunshine, please come back to stay.
For the one I have loved has found his way.
Oh Mister Sunshine, thanks for your light.
You again have made my days so bright.
