Ode to the Oath Keepers

I woke one early morning
I turned on the TV news
FOX was generically on the box
I love to listen to them muse.

I fired up the laptop
Eager, I wanted to see
What did my political opposition
The Lefties, think of me?

"Racist, hater, warmonger"
Were the labels they attach
"Conservatives love big business"
As they challenge us to a match.

But then my heart grew warmed
A new reality for all to see
Oath Keepers suddenly appeared
And quite the relief to me.

They pointed a crooked finger
At the usurpers on the Hill
And in very plain language stated
"We will not accept your bitter pill."

"We will deny your order"
Oath Keepers did exclaim
And for this ideological nonsense
Progressives should be ashamed.

But that requires forthright
And real heartfelt acts
To move us to a better place
And not join 'em down the booby hatch.

Now a new day dawns
The murky mist will part
Progressives suddenly empty
In the bowels of that black heart.

My people have arisen
Our voices, oh so clear
2 million in DC
But Progressives didn't hear.

They missed all those folks
Lined up on the Mall
They shoved their fingers in their ears
And refused to hear us at all.

But now Oath Keepers speaks for us
And their words are no mistake
"Mess with the peeps of this nation
And your power we will break."

So Progressives, I ask you
Did you hear them fine folks too?
They were rather loud and clear
And they were talking to YOU!

Fail to heed their words
Your peril at the gate
A failed attempt by usurpers
My nation they wanted to take.

Now a nation watches
Our eyes open and clear
We are onto the usurpers
For their well being they should fear.

Now that watchers watch
Every movement they will make
And of all their little usurpation
Of note we will take.

And when the scales grow heavy
Their usurpation weighing down
The will of free men all over
We will slap from their heads the crown.

Off to the place of darkness
Crawling from which they emerge
Lying tongues locked in their cheeks
These Progressives we will purge.

So on their cloven hooves
Their forked tails tucked so clear
Between their lying asses
Off they will run in fear.

For an angered people
Of the usurpations we take note
Lucky they can run so fast
For us to place our hands 'round their throat.

"Die an ignominious death"
Progressive ideology I proclaim
And never again darken the doorway
Of such a noble nation you seek to defame.

Your time has come and gone
Your wad shot thru and thru
Oath Keepers are aware
And their eyeballs are on YOU!
