Ode to a Piece of Lint Part Four

Foul Nemesis

Steven West
Oh dastardly lint,
Thou art my enemy.
You strike at my heart.
You evil manifestation.
Though gray in character and in spirit,
You nevertheless delight in my wretched existence.
How can I survive such foul temperament?
Perhaps I shall drown you in the midst of
Darkening soiled water.
I shall then be relieved of your maddening, fluffy soul.
Oh evil nemesis,
Your destruction shall be my salvation.
Be gone forever you creature from the vent of decay.
Dust to dust you shall forever depart.
