O'Donnell Wins Delaware!

Tea Party Supporters Win Election

Jacqueline Winslow
Over the past 18 months, a growing group of people have gone from feeling helpless to changing the course of American Politics. With poverty on the rise, people are struggling to survive and desperate for something different from where we see our country headed. Helpless from what politicians have done to our country taking us to the worst economy second to the Great Depression.

For better or worse, politicians are beginning to freak out as Tea Party Supporters are winning over and over. The media as well as liberal Democrats have been vocal that the Tea Party Movement can't win elections. Yet, what is happening all around us is that the Tea Party Victories keep happening. Democrat, Independents, and Liberals are no longer in charge of the changes in our country. Who is?

Every day Americans who are rising up and saying no to politicians!

Every day Americans who say, "No more Spending."

Plumbers, factory workers, SAHM, WAHM, virtual assistants, nurses, teaches, construction worker doctors, small business owners ... the list goes on and on. A group of Americans who are tired of politicians pushing them into places that don't make since... that is what the Tea Party Movement is. People standing up for what they believe in.

Every day Americans who say we want to uphold our Constitution. We want values in our country.

Democrats and Republicans have said that O'Donnell's Victory in Delaware will ruin Republicans chance at winning in the November Election. The truth is no longer about that. The fact is that the GOP refused to support her as she campaigned for the mid-term election. Yet, the people of Delaware prevailed. They demanded changed. They wanted our constitution and our countries values to stay intact. They refused to continue in the direction our country has taken.

Now O'Donnell wins, and the GOP says they will back her. The GOP will back the Tea Party Movement because they need the Tea Party Supporters come the November Election. They need the people who are joining the Grass Roots Movement.

These are normal Americans who come together to stand for what they believe in; not crazy people who are ignorant about politics. The Tea Party Supporters where shirts and jackets with our founding fathers as pictures. It sounds crazy, but it isn't. This is normal Americans who want to return to what our founding fathers created years ago. These are every day Americans making a stand for what they believe in. This movement shouldn't be disdained, even if you disagree. Every American should rise up and make a stand because this is what our country is founded upon.

Tea Party Supporters are honest about what they want for our country. They have stated their case and stand for the Constitution. These people are Americans who want the Constitution to be followed to a T. They want to return to the values that our country was founded upon.

The Tea Party Movement has made its case that if the American people take a stand, change will happen. Change that the people want, not what the politicians are giving us. O'Donnell is a perfect example. The Tea Party Movement is based on principles: honesty, hope, charity, love, and human kindness. The Tea Party Movement is about caring about the hard-working people who are struggling every day. These supporters care about the police, the firefighters, the teachers, the children, the teenagers. These are the people Tea Party Supporters are fighting for.

Politicians haven't fought for the American people. This is one reason our country is in the mess it's in. For years we've seen them fight for their own agendas. They've lost their fight for the people. In its place is greed and hunger for money.

American history is about American citizens voting in elections. The 2010 November election can and should be the biggest election our country has ever seen. Just as the people of Delaware voted for O'Donnell, it's time for everyday Americans to stand up; speak out; and be vocal about what they want for this country.
