Off the Grill: Restuarant Review

Great Delivery Place!

Some nights are just lazy nights. You don't feel getting the kids dressed, everyone loaded in the car, and braving the weather to go eat at a restaurant. But, you don't feel like cooking either. Tonight is one of those nights for us.

We were contemplating what to fix for dinner, and being 5 months pregnant, I didn't feel like cooking. So, I ask my husband if he wanted to have some pizza delivered. He quickly reminded me that we had pizza for dinner last night (and leftovers for lunch today). But, what else can we have delivered?

I thought for a moment and remembered that there is a little restaurant called Off The Grill that delivers. So, I looked up their online menu to see what we could order from them.

Their menu was filled with delicious steaks, grilled chicken, and burgers. So, I ask my husband what he would like from Off the Grill. He decided to have their Mega burger cooked medium well. I order a club salad (which comes topped with their grilled chicken) and order two kids meals-one cheeseburger for my son and the grilled chicken tenders for my daughter.

The total was a little more than we would spend for pizza, but well worth it. Off The Grill had our meal at our door in about 45 minutes and everything looked so good. The Mega burger is HUGE! My husband had sautéed mushrooms added to his, and they looked delicious.

My salad was equally impressive. It was a nice sized salad with all the fixings. Off The Grill wrapped the grilled chicken in aluminum foil on the side so it wouldn't wilt the lettuce. A huge plus in my book.

We had each ordered a loaded baked potato to go with our meals. The potatoes came wrapped up in foil and had the fixings on the side in little containers. The potatoes were nice sized and all in all pretty good.

The most impressive part of our meal were the kids meals. My son's burger was pretty large for a kids meal and my daughter got 6 chicken tenders! His meal came with potato chips and hers with applesauce. They each also received a huge chocolate chip cookie and fruit punch.

Our delivery guy was very polite and the meal was delicious. Since Off The Grill is a national chain, I'd recommend checking Off The Grill's website at www.offthegrill.com to see if there is one in your area.
