Oh, Those (Strange) Florida Laws

According to Number 10 Constitutional Amendment Article X, Section 19, because the inhumane treatment of animals is a concern to citizens, no person can confine a pig, during pregnancy, in a cage, crate, or other enclosure, except for veterinary purposes, if that pig cannot freely move around.

You can be fined in Pensacola for rolling a barrel on the street. The amount of the fine can depend on what is in your barrel. Also in the city, you are not allowed to be downtown unless you have at least $10 with you. After a woman's death in the city, if she died because of electrocution in a bathtub because of self beautification utensils, she may be fined.

In Broward County, it is illegal for workers at hot dog stand to be inappropriately attired. The text of the law states that those who do are considered an impediment to traffic. Specifically, males may not show their anal cleft, buttocks, or cleavage, and females may not wear G-strings, T-back bathing suits, or thong bikinis. There are other restrictions in the law.

In Miami Beach, make certain you never go skateboarding at a police station, or you will be breaking the law. A person can be sentenced to 30 days in jail for selling oranges on the street. It is illegal to have a termite farm in the city.
