If you live in Nebraska, you maybe should consider not eating before going to church if you have children. According to one Nebraska law that some online deem to be strange, if a child burps during a service, his parents may be arrested. There are other strange laws in the state.

According to another strange Nebraska law, it is illegal in the state to fish for whales.

A woman in Crawford who is single, divorced, or widowed will be breaking a city law if she parachutes on Sunday.

In Waterloo a barber will be breaking the law if he eats an onion between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
