Bart Tanski is a pro-style quarterback who attends Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio. A member of the class of 2008, Tanski is also a talented student, carrying a 3.8 grade point average.

Tanski stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 191 pounds. He is capable of running the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds. He can bench press a maximum of 225 pounds with a vertical of 27 inches.

An excellent pocket passer, some have said that while Tanski may not have the height and weight of other successful high school football quarterbacks, he more than makes up for it with his toughness and determination. Some have went so far as to call him the best signal caller in Ohio, as well as one of the best overall high school football players in the state.

Tanski's high school football career

Bart Tanski truly showed off his talent during the November of his junior year, leading his school to an 18-13 victory over Canton McKinley High School in the game for the Division I state championship. During his game, he completed 24 of 31 passes for 327 yards and 4 touchdowns. This success earned Tanski two records: one of completions and the other for touchdown passes.

Overall, during his junior year football season, Bart Tanski racked up more than 2,600 passing yards for 24 touchdowns and rushed more than 800 yards.

Bart Tanski's training camp experience

Tanski has attended both the Elite Training Camp held in Cleveland, Ohio and the Elite 11 Quarterback Camp at Penn State. In interviews, Bart Tanski has stated that he enjoys the training camp experience and sees it as a way of further showing off his talents. He has attracted the interest of several Division I football programs for the fall 2008 season.
