Ohio High School Football Receiver Teddy Robb

Teddy Robb, a wide receiver, will begin his senior year at Northwest High School in Canal Fulton, Ohio, in the fall. The six-foot tall football player weighs in at 189 pounds, runs the forty in 4.49 seconds, and does the shuttle in 4.34 seconds. His vertical is 32 inches, his bench maximum is 285 pounds (14 reps), and his squat max is 405 pounds. He is also a standout track athlete at Northwest. In his junior year, he ran for more than 800 all-purpose yards. He impressed a lot of scouts at the National High School All-Star Combine where he ran the 40-yard dash back-to-back sub-4.5 times.

Robb is looking at four schools, including Notre Dame, Ohio State, Akron, and Kent. He also participated in the two-week-long Ted Ginn Bus Tour this summer with stops at 15 camps.

Indiana makes a visit
Indian's assistant coach Bobby Johnson came by Northwest High School to see Teddy Robb. "I really like Bobby Johnson. He's been who I have talked to the most," Robb said. He also attended the Hoosiers' game against Connecticut in the fall and said he liked the school's facilities and last year's recruiting class.

Notre Dame's camp
In June, he went to South Bend, Ind., to attend Notre Dame's football camp where he told IrishIllustrated.com that he enjoyed the camp. "Notre Dame has awesome facilities," he said. "I worked out individually at defensive back, but when we did one-on-ones, I did wide receiver and defensive back." He has realized that in college, he may have to play positions that he did not in high school. "I'm more comfortable at wide receiver," he said. "But in college I think I'd be a big corner instead of an average wide receiver -- I'm willing to do either."

At Notre Dame, Robb talked to the coaches. "Coach (Charlie) Weis said they really liked what they saw," he said. "They would make a few more evaluations and see what happens."

Other interests
As an Ohio native, Robb has a soft spot for Ohio State. In April, he told Peegs.com: "My dream my whole life has been to play at Ohio State, but I really like Notre Dame... And then I'd throw Akron in there because they're close to home and I like their facilities."

2006-2007 season stats
Overall, this wide receiver from Northwest had seven touchdowns and 49 passes for 682 yards as a junior.
