Ravenwood Castle sits atop the highest hill in scenic Vinton County's Swan Township. Fifty acres of forest and large rock formations surround the castle which is reached by a half-mile private road.

Because of space and time considerations, they can do some kinds of weddings indoors year-round, and others in the summer only.

They have the Prince & Princess Package A wedding just for the two of you and perhaps two friends to celebrate with you. Choose a special place in the Castle or outdoors for the ceremony. The Pavilion in the Woods is available June - September for those who prefer to plan the entire event themselves. It includes plenty of shade, its own parking lot, a stage with electricity, two pavilions for dressing, benches to seat up to 50, and four tables on which you can set up your own food. There are clean outdoor facilities. If you are worried about the weather, they can provide tent rental phone numbers. Music is fine, but no amplifiers, please. No alcohol is permitted in this area. $250 plus tax.
