Ojon Shine & Protect Glossing Mist - Product Review

I love Sephora; it is definitely one of my favorite places to shop! One of the reasons is because of the free samples they offer. For one of my recent purchases I used a coupon to receive a free deluxe sample of my choosing. I choose the Ojon Shine & Protect Glossing Mist. I had never used any of the Ojon products but I have heard good things about them so I was excited to try it.

You can purchase Ojon Shine & Protect Glossing Mist from Sephora, Nordstrom, QVC and other sites. The price is expensive. A 2 ounce spray bottle will cost anywhere from $25-$28. This glossing mist uses an eco-friendly formula and it's water and alcohol-free. It's used to make your hair soft, shiny and manageable. It can be used on all hair types. It promises to leave a brilliant weightless shine, protect, enhance color, nourish, hydrate and tame frizz and flyaways.

To use just position the spray 8-10 inches away from your dry hair and use 2-3 sprays. It is suggested that you use the mist before using a flat iron. After I apply it to my hair I always brush my hair to ensure that I get a nice even coat on all of my hair.

Does Ojon Shine & Protect Glossing Mist live up to its claims? Definitely yes! I have very fine/thin hair. It's usually difficult to find finishing products that do not leave my hair feeling greasy or oily. This mist easily applies on my hair and leaves it soft and smooth. I can definitely see a difference in my hair's appearance only after a week. My color looks richer, my hair looks healthier and it feels softer too.

While going through the ingredients listed on the bottle a few ingredients really stood out to me. This spray contains palm oil, broccoli seed oil, sweet almond oil and carrageenan. I am truly impressed on the performance of this spray; I loved almost everything about it. My only problem was the smell. It has a very musky fragrance. It sort of reminds me of a perfume you would find in your grandmothers room. It's not very pleasant. The good thing is the scent doesn't last long and it's easy to cover it up. Just use a little body spray or perfume and it usually hides the smell.

Would I buy the full sized product? I could definitely see myself buying more of this and trying other Ojon products. The prices are a little high but if you want high quality, you usually have to pay for it.
