OK Magazine Says Jennifer Aniston Pregnant (April, 2010 ) Could Aniston Pregnancy Rumors Be True?

The April 7, 2010 cover of OK Magazine features a picture of Jennifer Aniston and her Bounty Hunter Co-star, Gerard Butler. Jennifer is rubbing her belly and Butler is gazing adoringly down at the forty-year-old star. The headline screams, "Finally a Baby for Jennifer Aniston". Could it be true? Could the forty-year-old actress really be pregnant?

Are Jennifer Aniston Pregnancy Rumors Confirmed?

While the cover of OK Magazine says the rumors are confirmed, I for one remain skeptical. There does not appear to be confirmation from Jennifer Aniston. Also, this is not the first time that pregnancy rumors have surfaced regarding Aniston. In fact, for the last several years there have been repeated rumors of Jennifer Aniston pregnant.

Jennifer Aniston Past Pregnancy Rumors

In March 2009, Life & Style Magazine featured a glowing Jennifer Aniston on the cover with a title, "Finally a Baby", "Fertility doctor Helps Jen". The article went on to discuss rumors that Jennifer Aniston had been seen visiting, Mary C. Kerr, Beverly Hills, OB-GYN to the stars. Speculation was that former beau, John Mayer was the father. In November 2008, Aniston was on the cover of Supermarket tabloid,Star with the headline "Twins for Jen". Jennifer Aniston denied rumors of a pregnancy to Vince Vaughn that surfaced in 2007 in an article in the National Enquirer.

Why the Fascination with Jennifer Aniston Being Pregnant

I have my theories as to why we are so interested in the idea of Jennifer Aniston being pregnant. First, celebrity pregnancies in themselves are big news. Whether it is the pregnancy of Jessica Alba or Jennifer Lopez, the world wants to read about it. Celebrity plus baby equals big news. I am not sure why that is the case. It just simply is. What makes story about a Jennifer Aniston pregnancy so tantalizing is her golden girl, accessible image. Former star of the popular television show Friends, which was on the air for ten seasons, allowed the world to watch Jennifer literally come into her own in front of our eyes. Many of us, through her character of Rachel Green felt a kinship to Aniston that feeling multiplied by ten following the breakup of her marriage to Brad Pitt.

Rumors of Jennifer Aniston's Pregnancy may or may not be true. The one thing that is certain is that this writer, for one, wishes Ms. Aniston the best regardless of her pregnancy status.
