Oklahoma City Shootings: Why the Violence?

rosa florence
Just the other day I was watching on the news about a shooting that had occured. I started paying more attention to the news night after night. I started noticing that nearly every time that the local news was on there was at least one shooting.

What would make this world a place of violence? Why do our kids feel that they are no longer safe anymore?

You could start answering thease questions by looking at the way our children are raised. Every day I see kids walking down the road with no parents and ya this is fine if the children where older but they are not. I am talking about thirteen years and younger being out there alone.

Thease kids that are walking the street are introduced to there first taste of violence at a young age. I am not saying that this is all the parents fault, but if we did our jobs to keep a safe eye on thease children then maybe it would cut down on some of the violence.

If we are suppose to be a nation that is the best of the best then why aren't we taking a bigger stand to do more for our country by getting thease kids off of the street and into programs that might keep them from talking to gang members and having access to guns or other weapons?

I am ashamed to hear of a child shooting another child just because they don't like them. It shouldn't be this way. I want my children to live in a better world and have a better life.

I'm tired of watching the news and seeing this kind of violence. I want this to stop.

I want us all to feel safe.
