Oklahoma City Still Mourns the Loss of Life After 12 Years

For some of us, 12 years fly by like a feather in the wind, but for those who lost loved ones, and those who survived the Oklahoma City bombing, These past 12 years played out as if it were all in slow motion.

Despite the horrific tragedy that occurred on Virgina Tech campus this week, Oklahoma City will have hold it's annual vigil at the Oklahoma City National memorial for the 168 people who lost their lives in the Oklahoma City bombing. As they do, I am sure that all the students from Virginia tech will be on their minds. It will begin at 9:05am, with song, and prayer, then the names of the 168 men, women and children will be read, followed by comments from family and survivors of the Oklahoma City bombing.

In the aftermath of violence, it's hard to put into words what most of us feel in our hearts for the families of the fallen. All I can say is, my complete heart is with each and every one of them, and that I pray that they all find peace in a world of chaos and violence. For any human to make the decision to take a life that doesn't belong to them, is to play God, and to play God is a dangerous place to put your soul.
