Dee Albert (Cody) Replogle, was arrested on Dec. 20 by a trooper after OHP received an e-mail complaint about a Youtube video of an individual driving a super-charged Corvette recklessly and at extremely high speeds believed to b over 190 miles per hour on the Kilpatrick Turnpike and in and around the Edmond and Oklahoma City areas.
OHP Col. Van Guillotte viewed the video and decided to have the OHP's investigations division attempt to locate the subject.
"I was extremely concerned with Mr. Replogle's reckless driving and thought the YouTube posts might encourage others to do the same thing in order to garner attention," said Guillotte. "Our roadways are absolutely no place for this type of dangerous driving behavior or stunts."
Troopers tracked Replogle down and obtained statements indicating that he was the owner, driver and personally responsible for the YouTube videos.
The Oklahoma County District Attorney's office was equally concerned and aided in obtaining arrest warrants for Replogle.
Replogle was booked in the Oklahoma County Jail on two counts of reckless driving.
The links to the videos are posted on the right.

Post a CommentRather like bragging about breaking the law, although I can understand why he wanted to show off his driving skills at You Tube.
Glad nobody was hurt. What a dolt.
Another case of sharing everything isn't always the best policy:)
Whew, it's probably true that others would have tried to copy him, so it's lucky the video was removed. Glad I wasn’t on the turnpike near him! I just wonder if Repogle had a friend take the video so they could post it!
Speedy Gonzales? In jail? Take Speedy Alka-Seltzer. Smarten up Speedily.
Not too bright!
Just good that the jerk didn't kill someone.
Fantastic :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - maybe in 2011 he'll keep it under 80 mph
Very interesting! It looks like he removed his videos lol
