You don't have to go all the way to Germany to celebrate Oktoberfest. Just go to Clinton Hill.

This weekend, Kelso of Brooklyn, along with Captain Lawrence Brewing Company and the Heartland Brewery, will bring Oktoberfest to Brooklyn. Come to the planned street party on October 2 for your faire share of brats, beer, and music.

Heavily featured at the event will be seasonal ales with hints of pumpkin and plenty of Oktoberfest-worthy stouts. You'll also get beers of every kind in between. In addition to the food and drink, revelers will also get a taste of a couple of bands from the borough.

The Clinton Hill Oktoberfest celebration is the brainchild of Kelso's owner, Kelly Taylor. Taylor was inspired by the more casual events he's hosted for charities in the past. This street party also happens to be a charity fundraiser.

Kelso's Oktoberfest Street Party will be on October 2 from 1:00-5:00 at Kelso of Brooklyn at 529 Waverly Avenue between Fulton and Atlantic. Tickets will run $40 and include a plate of food and three craft beers per admission.
