The consistency is smooth and creamy, which I do like. It is not oily, sticky, gooey, too thick, or too runny. It goes on nicely, almost too nicely. I keep putting way too much on. I think the problem is with the packaging. It comes in a jar, not a pump bottle. What I like about the pump bottles is that you can't go wrong with the amount you dispense. With an open jar, like the Olay complete, I am taking too much out. When I take less out with my fingers, then I feel it wasn't enough and I have to take more. The first time I applied it I ended up getting it all on m eyebrows, gross. I had to wash my face and start all over again. So my suggestion to the company would be to change the packaging to a pump dispense bottle.
How it feels. It actually feels nice. My face feels hydrated after applying it. It doesn't feel dry after washing it. I tend to wash my face a lot and with it being the middle of winter, my face has really dried out a lot. I do feel that the Olay Complete Moisture Cream has helped my face rehydrate without feeling too sticky.
How it smells. It actually has absolutely no smell to it, which I love too. I do not like face creams that have fruit smells to them. I love no scent creams. This one is great for that reason.
How it looks. It is has a white color to it. The only problem is that when you apply it to your face, it stays white. You have to completely work it into your skin in order for the white to disappear. I find that a little annoying. Sometimes I like to leave a little cream on my face but you can't with this cream, or else you will have white on your face.
How much it costs. I sent my husband out to CVS and he was able to buy the 2.0 ounce bottle for only $6.99. I though that was a pretty good price, especially since the jar seems to be lasting a long time. Other face creams I have tried cost around $13.00 or even more. I do like the price of the Olay Complete. It was a great deal.
The Olay Complete has a built in sun block of SPF 15. That is always a good thing to have in your face cream to protect your skin from the sun. Even if it is cold out, the sun can still be hot and bake on your face. This will help protect your skin.
The formula is Dermatologist Tested and Recommended. The ingredients include Antioxidant Vitamin E plus C. It is a light, non greasy formula (this is definitely true). It is 100% Oil Free (again, no oily feel at all). You can use this cream on your face and your neck. The main two active ingredients are 6.0% Octinoxate and 3.0% Zinc Oxide. The first ingredient is water, which is always great for your skin.
Overall, I do recommend the Olay Complete Face Cream, just be careful how much you apply to your face. I still prefer my old face cream, but this one comes a close second.
