Olay Daily Facials Skin Soothing Cleansing Cloths for Sensitive Skin: Product Review

Eliza Wynn
I have both sensitive skin and a sensitive nose. That makes it hard to find facial cleansing products I can deal with. Most are too harsh, too heavily perfumed, or both. Even a slight perfume can give me a massive headache and bother my eyes and nose. That's why I was so happy to find Olay Daily Facials Skin Soothing Cleansing Cloths for Sensitive Skin.

I like to wash my face three times a day, and these cloths feel wonderful. Normally, I use a full cloth to wash my face. However, sometimes I take a cloth, cut it into fourths, and just use one piece instead of the full size. This smaller size is good enough for a quick wash, and it's much more economical than using three cloths every day.

Olay Daily Facials Skin Soothing Cleansing Cloths for Sensitive Skin exfoliate, but gently. I wasn't convinced that they were doing the job until I slacked off. After not using them for a few days, I noticed how badly I needed to exfoliate. Once I started using them again, my skin looked and felt better, and I realized that they were exfoliating much better than I'd previously thought. The best thing about them is the fact that they don't bother my eyes or nose with a strong scent. They quickly became an essential part of my daily routine.

These cloths are easy to use. I just hold one briefly under running water, rub it together to produce lather, and gently use the textured side on my face. I can even use it around my eyes; it doesn't sting. When I'm finished, I rinse out the cloth until the water runs clean and then use it to rinse off my face before throwing it away. I occasionally get a box in which all the cloths are rougher than normal. When this happens, I use the smoother side.

The ingredients in Olay Daily Facials Skin Soothing Cleansing Cloths for Sensitive Skin include glycerin, aloe, chamomile extract, and Vitamin E. Each cloth is 6 x 7 inches, and there are 30 per refill package. They cost $6.29 at my local supermarket, and I feel that they're well worth the price.

I love Olay products but I haven't tried their Daily Facials yet. Excellent review! I'll have to pick some up the next time I'm in town.

Thank you for your review! I have been looking for a product that would help me save time in the mornings. I used to use these, but I stopped. Your recommendation of cutting the cloths into fourths is exactly what I used to do-saves money. Thanks for reminding me about these again.
