Taking care of your skin is one of the most important things you can do in life. Your skin is made up of water and it constantly needs moisture. A good body wash will not only cleanse the skin but also provide moisture to the skin. Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus is a body wash that I have discovered that provides adequate moisture, has a pleasant scent and passes my test for a good moisturizing body wash.

I usually decide if I am going to buy a new body wash by 1) the claims made on the bottle. I always look for "provides moisture" or "moisturizing formula" and 2) a nice and refreshing scent. Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus passed both of these requirements and I brought home a 10 fl. Oz. bottle for under $5.00. It was actually on sale for only $2.00 at Big Lots and I'm kicking myself for not stocking up. I did however, buy another formula to try out as well.

Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus is a product from the "ribbons" line of Olay's body washes. The formula is swirled and takes on a "ribbon" effect. The formula is nice and thick and luscious. I found that it only takes a small amount to gather up a big lather. This reduces wastefulness. I don't know about you, but I want a body wash that provides a full lather. When the soap doesn't lather, it makes me think it isn't working.

Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus comes in a bottle with the upside-down design. I really like this kind of packaging as it makes the product easy to use, especially when you are down to less than half of a bottle left. Storing the bottle with the cap at the bottom gives easy access to the product and you don't have to worry about banging a bottle repeatedly into the palm of your hand waiting for the body wash to finally come out of the bottle.

The scent of Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus is nice and reminds me of a delicate water lily. The scent is not exactly floral but delivers a fresh and clean scent. I suppose since the formula is tinted in a light green color, I think of a water lily. I believe this is a good scent for both men and women also.

Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus contains a glucosamine complex and luminous brighteners to bring out the best in your skin. The luminous brighteners make your skin look radiant. The glucosamine complex is responsible for supplying your skin with the needed moisture to keep the skin looking youthful.

After using Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash Plus for a week, I was sold on the product. I usually have to put on a good body lotion or body butter after bathing to make sure my skin has enough moisture to keep my skin hydrated. I have dry skin that often itches because of the dryness. This is annoying and believe me it gets old. My skin felt and looked nice and soft after bathing with this product. I could actually feel the difference while bathing. It felt like a layer of moisture was left behind after washing. The formula is not greasy and rinses off cleanly.

While I haven't noticed any extra radiance from the luminous brighteners, I still feel like this is an excellent body wash. Most products on the market advertise that they will leave your skin moisturized, yet they do not. Olay Radiance Ribbons with Luminous Brighteners Body Wash lives up to this claim very well.
