Old Folks Dance

Wiley Vaughn
I feel the warm sun on my head,
Even more since my hair is thin.

The sagging skin about my eyes,
Declares my days are many.

But the love in my heart for you,
Is more now than it was then.

Funny how even young folks can tell,
When old folks are in love!

So come hold my hand and we're dancing,
Through life though far less nimbly.

I know I'll love you forever and ever,
Will you please return the favor?

Old folks dance in their hearts,
They love as much as ever.

When all else is gone, in memory they dance on,
To a love that springs eternal.

It's so nice to see a romantic man around. I agree with Catherine. Your lady is very lucky indeed!
