Old Friend Sand Crab

Poem

Kady Birdwhistle
The Old Sand Crab crawls
Across white sandy beaches
Grins at Friend Lobster

He scuttles behind
A child-made sandcastle
To peep at swimmers

I'm glad that the Old Sand Crab doesn't have a crabby personality.

Very cute. The instant I read this, I was 8, back in Brant Beach, NJ, building a sandcastle and turning sandcrabs loose inside. You did it again!!!
