Old Navy Jeans - Good or Bad?

Theresa L.
The cost of jeans can add up, especially when most stores do not carry your size. I know this from first hand experience because I am a size 0. I can forget about Wal-Mart and similar places they have never heard of a size 0 before. The problem with this is I am forced to shop at name brand stores for my jeans and the cost of shopping name brands quickly adds up.

That is one of the reason I like Old Navy Jeans. For under $30 dollars you can get a flirty and stylish look without breaking your bank account and they come in a variety styles. The only real issue I have with them is that Old Navy Jeans are geared more to teenagers and youths than adults yet all of their jeans are under $30. One benefit of such a low cost jean is clearance and sales. If you get their at the right time you can get a good pair of jeans for as low as $10-$15.

Not only does the cost of the jeans please me the size of the jeans does as well. Old Navy Jeans come in a variety of sizes all ranging from 0-20. This is great benefit for all different people because no matter your size you are guaranteed to find a pair of jeans that will fit you. Another advantage to Old Navy Jeans is the inseams. Their inseams come in short, regular, and long. I like this a lot because I can assure you it is very difficult to find jeans in a size 0 but worse when the inseam needs to be long.

Old Navy also has a lot of different styles. They have bootleg, flare, trouser, and straight jeans but there is a downside to their pants. The downside with Old Navy Jeans is the waist. With the Old Navy jeans the backside of the waist is higher than the front. Normally Old Navy jeans are mid-rise and come to just below the waist but keep in mind the back is a little bit higher.

Not only is the back a problem the jeans do not retain their shape. After a few hours of wearing Old Navy Jeans they will stretch out on you giving you a sloppy, baggy look, almost boring. This would not be so bad but no amount of washing is going to fix the problem. Old Navy Jeans is a one wear pair of jeans if you are looking for fashion and not reliability.

Now do I recommend buying them. Yes I do. They may not retain their shape but they are dependable and durable and for under $30 you are at least going to get your monies worth. Like most places they do have their cons but even with them the pros outweigh.
