Old Navy Jeans Have Style and Flare for Regular and Plus Sized Women

If you open my closet or one of my dresser drawers you will find that most everything I own these days was purchased from Old Navy. I love their t-shirts, sweaters, and dress slacks, but my favorite item from Old Navy is their jeans. I have been purchasing Old Navy Brand blue jeans for at least five years and have never had any major complaints.

Old Navy has styles and sizes for just about every body type. Their women's sizes are 0-20 and are available in short, regular, and long lengths. Styles include low rise (the diva), mid-rise (the flirt), classic rise (the sweetheart), and at waist (the goddess). The various styles come in a wide selection of leg cuts like flare, boot cut, wide legged and cropped. No matter if you are a size 0 or a size 20 their jeans will complement just about any body style. If you have curves the wide leg selections are great because they don't make those curves seem so pronounced.

When comparing the selection of jeans available at Old Navy to those at other retailers it's my personal opinion that Old Navy has a far better selection. If you go into your favorite store to shop for jeans you will usually only find one or two styles that compliment your body type. At Old Navy not all the jeans are designed for a size zero waist. Also at Old Navy you aren't forced to buy jeans that bare your entire backside when you bend over. Low rise waists are the most popular jeans but not everyone is into this trend. If you shop at Old Navy you have options. Jeans aren't just for teens and the twenty-something crowd which is something most retailers tend to forget.

If you are plus sized woman Old Navy also has a great selection of jeans for you. Shopping for plus sized women's jeans in most retail stores is at best limited. The colors are usually dull, the waists are often made from elastic, and they look like something your grandma would wear. At Old Navy they strive to make the plus sized woman feel like a modern woman. Jeans are available in low-rise and classic rise which are those most flattering for plus sized women. Most of their plus size jeans also have spandex added into the fabric to give them just a bit more give in those problem areas. Sized range from 16-30plus and can be purchased with short, regular or tall inseams. My personal favorite and one that I have at least three pairs of are the Women's Plus Low Rise Boot Cut Jeans. The are great for my less than perfect body and don't show off my flaws like most jeans do.

Old Navy jeans can be purchased online or at a retail store. Prices range from around $35 to $20 in most cases. Usually you can find an excellent selection in their bargains section of the website. Plus sized women buying Old Navy jeans must do so through the website as all plus sized clothing by Old Navy is exclusive to the web.

I have several pairs of Old Navy jeans in my wardrobe and have gone through several pairs in the last five years. For the price you pay I find they are very durable. The don't shrink when you wash them like most jeans do. The don't seem to fade over time like most dark jeans will do. I buy Old Navy jeans exclusively because of the spandex blend in the fabric of the plus sized jeans. I love the little bit of give they have when you put them on. The only problem that I have found is that the belt loops are sometimes flimsy. I have a horrible habit of pulling my jeans up by the belt loops and have snapped a few.
