Old Navy Jeans - Tough Under Pressure

Eric Brantner
As a Christmas present to myself, I purchased 2 new pairs of Regular style Old Navy jeans. I'm not a huge fan of shopping, so I appreciated the fact that the jeans were easily accessible (right up front) and there was a wide selection of styles and sizes.

Now, almost 3 months later, I am reviewing the performance of my Old Navy jeans. On a 5 point scale, I will determine my level of satisfaction with the jeans' comfort, style, overall quality, pricing, and my overall shopping experience at Old Navy.

· Comfort 4/5- While I have certainly owned jeans that are more comfortable than the Old Navy jeans I purchased, both of these pants are sufficiently comfortable. They are not restricting to the movement of my legs, nor are they too loose around my waist. The only reason these jeans didn't receive a perfect rating of 5 is that I have had more expensive jeans that were made of much softer material that maximized my comfort. That being said, these jeans are still quite comfortable.

· Style 3.5/5- Since I only purchased the Regular style Old Navy jeans, I can't really give the jeans an excessive style rating. With a style name of "Regular" you know these jeans aren't going to be hitting a high fashion runway anytime soon. However, I wasn't searching for jeans that were stylish or overly fashionable. I wanted a simple pair of jeans that I could wear to work on casual days, and that's exactly what these Regular Old Navy jeans are.

· Quality 4.5/5- The quality of these jeans is really quite exceptional for the price I paid for them. I go through jeans like I do socks. My jeans are typically fraying at the ends and developing holes in the knees within a few weeks after I purchase them. However, almost 3 months later these jeans are still in tremendous condition. They have stood up to all of the beatings I have put them through and maintained their appearance in the process.

· Price 4.5/5- The quality of the jeans really makes the price all that much better, in my mind. After taxes were applied, the Old Navy jeans were just over $30 a piece. Considering how well they have held up in the short time I have owned them, I feel this is a more than reasonable prices. I have bought other jeans for around this price range, and none of them have matched the quality of my current pants.

· Shopping Experience 4/5- The overall shopping experience is very important to someone like me. As I mentioned earlier, I am rarely excited to go shopping so anytime I can go to a store that is easy to navigate and has relatively quick checkout procedures, I am a happy guy. The pants I wanted were right in the front of the store, and the fitting rooms were easy to get in and out of. Furthermore, the cashier was friendly and quite professional during checkout.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my Old Navy jeans. I believe have met or perhaps even exceeded my expectations. They truly provide me with everything that I require in a pair of pants.

Good review. I might look into getting a pair of these jeans myself.

I like your take on the review. I, too, appreciate being able to see a product immediately when I go to a store. Although I'm a woman, I'm not a big fan of shopping!
