"Old People Huts" Make Caring for the Elderly Easier Than Ever

James Stevens builds "houses" for the elderly. What started several years ago as a mere idea has boomed into a full time venture. It seems that James has tapped into a potentially huge industry, where many younger people are struggling with what to do with their elderly parents.

Market research has shown that over $5 billion a year is spent on caring for our nations elderly. This includes pudding, foot spray and Lysol. James has found a unique way to house these old people, while only slightly tearing away their dignity. "Old People Huts" are specially designed miniature houses for old people. These custom mini-houses bring smiles to elderly faces; and while they are not very spacious, they are built to last!

"I made one for my parents after they started getting naked at the nursing home and throwing Jello at us every time we came to visit," says James. "I knew I had to do something when dad threw a full Depends adult undergarment at Reverend Richardson when he came to bring him some soup from the church."

"Some of my neighbors came by for a barbecue one time and asked if I could make one for them. I decided to make a business out of it" continued James. "I love it! I get to express my creativity while helping people at the same time, it's great!"

While many people have expressed outrage at what look like nothing more than large dog houses at first glance, James promises that his huts are built to a higher standard. James says that dog houses are commonly built using only cedar and nails while his huts are built with yellow pine and screws.

"Me can't wait to move in that nice little cottage." said Deborah Cooper, a 78 year old nursing home resident who's daughter recently decided it would be more cost effective to house momma in the back yard. "I got place to put me nutrition drinks, I got place to do poo and pee, I happy." We asked Deborah why she chose the Old People Hut instead of continuing her mothers nursing home care, "I love my momma, this way I know exactly what kind of treatment she is receiving. It's also like $200 a day to house my mom in a nursing home and one of these huts is just $500. Duh." answered Deborah.

Containing a small pantry, water hose insertion hole (for the occasional spray shower), AM radio, and portable toilet (bucket with seat cushion); these huts meet the basic needs of their residents. They can be placed anywhere outside. The only requirement is that they not be placed on any ant hills as this could lead to wood rot.

Old People Huts are designed to complement a home's landscaping and design, so they will blend in with the properties features. The hut then takes on the appearance of just another garden accessory. James will even include doors that only open from the outside to ensure the security of your loved one.
