Old Spice Fiji Body Spray for Men

Women Love it Too

Susan Slade
A few months back I purchased an Old Spice Fiji Antiperspirant, from the Fresh Collection, for Len, it worked really well, and the fragrance was great. Recently Walgreens drugstore had the Old Spice Body Spray reduced down from $4.99 to $3.99, with a register coupon for the $3.99, for my next store purchase. Of course I chose the Fiji fragrance for Len.

It is a small, squat bottle, that has the palm trees associated with Fiji, and the ocean. Above it is yellow, and the back, and top are red. It is a metal bottle with a plastic top. It is in the locked position, and when you turn the top to the right, you can see the opening where the spray comes out. You just turn it the other way to close it.

It has a net weight of 4.0 ounces (113 g.).

As with all men's products I wanted to try it out on myself. It states on the back that it should be sprayed 6 to 8 inches from the body. So I opened the top and held it away from my arm, and gave it a light spray. Immediately I felt a cooling effect on my arm, and then this refreshing smell. It is a manly smell, but not overpowering, or too manly. It has a woody smell to begin with, and then after awhile, more of an outdoor clean laundry smell to it.

About an hour later it was just a pleasant lingering smell. This is something that I like as so many men tend to have an aftershave, lotion, spray, or whatever, that almost feels that it is going to choke you.

On the back of the bottle it states that it "Smells like palm trees, sunshine & freedom". I'm not too sure what freedom smells like so I cannot agree, or disagree with them. On the website it states that it will take you "To the exotic islands of Fiji where your body will smell like palm trees and sunshine. Compare that to sending your entire body to Fiji, which costs thousands."

By the end of the evening I could still smell the Old Spice Fiji Body Spray. It was subtle and pleasing to me.

It has now gone over to my husband so that I can continue enjoying him using it.

My dad used to use an Old Spice after shave years ago. Don't know if he still does, can't remember it's that long since I've seen my parents :) Merry Christmas, and best wishes for the New Year, by the way :)
