Olga's Improves Menu

Chain Adds New Burger Choices to Their Menu

I have always loved Olga's Original sandwich made with tender lamb and Olga's special Olga Sauce, especially when it is accompanied by the Olga's Curly Fries. Fries are usually good dipped in ketchup, but I usually request a side of Olga Sauce to dip my fries. I recently made a visit to my local Olga's for dinner and decided to try one of their new burgers. After tasting one, I know I am going to have a difficult time making a choice the next time I return to Olga's for a meal.

Olga's menu has a few new sandwich choices on their menu, a few burgers in fact. On my visit the other day, I decided to try the new Olga Black and Bleu Burger. I love the Original Olga and that is my regular choice, but the new burgers made me curious and I decided to try something different. I must admit I was a bit scared, I had tried Black and Bleu versions of burgers at other restaurants and I really only slightly cared for one. But Olga's menu photo and burger description tempted me into ordering the Olga Black and Bleu Burger.

The waitress delivered the sandwich to my table with heaping curly fries and a small crock of Olga's peppery cole slaw. The burger looked so good I was afraid I might be disappointed once I tasted it, but it tasted even better than it looked. The meat was thick, juicy and tender. The burger was topped with a little lettuce, mayo, thick smokey bacon and the perfect amount of bleu cheese, all served neatly wrapped within a warm, fresh piece of Olga Bread. I consider the $8.99 price for the meal a great deal considering the amount of curly fries and the size of the burger, but the premium taste is really what makes this burger worth the money.

Top your meal off with one of Olga's new Dessert Duos. Two layers of mouse served in a cute shot-like glass. Just enough sweet treat to satisfy your taste buds after your lunch or dinner. Dessert Duos come are offered in four flavor combinations; Lemon/Raspberry, Cre'me Caramel, Double Chocolate and Chocolate Cappuccino. They are very reasonably priced at $1.99 each, 2 for $2.99 or 3 for $3.99.

I have always like Olga's and visited occasionally when I craved their Original Olga Sandwich. I think my visits are about to become more frequent.
