Olive Garden Restaurant Coming to Cleveland, Tennessee
Today, the Cleveland Daily Banner announced that another restaurant has applied for and paid the permit fees and has requested electrical service from Cleveland Utilities. The restaurant, part of a chain, is the Olive Garden. They applied for the permit yesterday, but have not picked it up yet. The new Olive Garden is said to be a $1.250 million project.
Drawings indicate that the building will be 7,537 square feet, will have 132 parking spaces, including 5 accessible spots. There are two Wal-mart stores in Cleveland . The new Olive Garden will be located in the northeast corner of the Wal-Mart on Paul Huff Parkway and Keith Street , the north end of town.
It is an area that has several chain restaurants including O'Charley's, Applebee's, Ryan's and Panera Bread. It is a heavily traveled road, as not only is there a Wal-Mart, but also Lowe's, a Home Depot and the Bradley Square Mall.
Personally, I have never even been inside of an Olive Garden restaurant. My husband has been to one, so he will probably like to try the new location when it opens. I know that the Olive Garden is a popular chain, and they would not be opening one in Cleveland if they didn't think it would fly.
Cleveland , Tennessee is growing by leaps and bounds with lots of new business. Besides Amazon's new distribution center, Wacker Chemie just broke ground and Whirlpool is building a new facility and all of this adds to the economy of our city and county. New people moving in need new restaurants. There is currently a Longhorn Steak House under construction, across from Logan 's Roadhouse, which is a short distance from where the Olive Garden will be built.
The Olive Garden is owned by Darden Restaurants, Inc. and they are the largest casual dining restaurant company in the world. Ok, Olive Garden, Cleveland , Tennessee is waiting for you!
