The main attraction at Olivia's Old Key West Resort is its atmosphere. The restaurant is light and airy, with a truly old-fashioned Florida Keys feel. Looking out the windows, you'll see the attractive Old Key West villas, but you might expect to be looking out on the Gulf of Mexico, the restaurant feels so authentic. There are photos of Disney visitors lining the walls, and although none of them are sporting their daily catch, you almost imagine each of them just floated in from a day at sea.
The food at Olivia's Old Key West Resort isn't anything out of the ordinary. The restaurant offers good, wholesome dishes that are very reasonably priced. For lunch, their entrees include penne pasta with cheese, mahi mahi, buttermilk chicken breast, a roast beef sandwich, a half-pound hamburger, a Cuban sandwich, a garden veggie wrap, and more. Lunch entrees average around $10. Dinner entrees include the Key West sirloin steak salad, penne pasta with shrimp, pork chops, chicken, a slow-roasted ten-ounce prime rib, and more. Dinner entrees run up to a reasonable $20.
With your meal, you can enjoy a cold beer, a glass of wine, or one of Olivia's specialty drinks. You might want to try their Rum Runner, their Turtle Crawl, or maybe their Sultry Seahorse. The service is ultra-friendly, and just the right amount of fast. You won't have to sit waiting, but you won't feel rushed either. If you bring along your Disney Dining Experience card, you will save yourself twenty percent.
When the theme park restaurants and the major resort restaurants are filled to capacity, Olivia's at Disney's Old Key West Resort is a great place to escape. After your meal, you can enjoy a leisurely walk around the resort's grounds, check out their swimming pool and golf course. Disney's Old Key West is a relaxing resort, the kind that affords you a vacation from your hectic Disney vacation. For more information, visit disneyworld.com, or call 407-WDW-DINE.
