Fortunate we are here in the United States for the feeling of a frustrated public during and after the financial crisis of 2008 could have erupted into a much worse scenario. We must remember where there is lost opportunities for a better life, oppression of a free will, and stagnation of a society are the main ingredients for future rebellion. In Egypt all these factors came together like a tsunami rushing over an entire country. This powder keg of despair by so many impoverished are now poised to ignite the wrath of populations through-out the whole region.
Intervention by nations now will only further alienate an already depressed populace. What must happen to calm a nation so distraught is to form a coalition of nations made up of the United Nations Security Council to felicitate a resolution to end this crisis of a disenchanted country. Assurances must be made to provide that a true Democratic Republic society will rise out of the ashes of despair and anguish that has plagued Egypt over this past decade.
What has occurred in Egypt has to be an awakening to other nations whose leaders continue to hold power and sole authority over their populace. When power is wielded soley by an individual over others that power becomes corrupted. Where there is absolute power as such is the case in still many countries through-out the world that power corrupts absolutely. Where there is corruption lies a sleeping inner turmoil that is easily awakened brining about civil unrest and social upheaval on to societies.
The first step in the long arduous road back to stability lies not with outside intervention but with- in each Egyptian. The point has been made that drastic change is needed. If the leaders of Egypt fail to grasp the scope and magnitude of how impoverished that nation has become the United Nations has no other choice but to intervene to stabilize. Once a calm rationale over takes the mass hysteria resolutions must be made. These will restore the stability of a rocked nation so that every one will have equal capabilities and opportunities of attaining a better quality of life and secure the future growth of a nation. Once Egypt regains the stability that it so desperatly craves the security of the whole region will be restored.
