On "Dancing with the Stars" J.R. Martinez Gets All Perfect Scores on Two Dances- Week 8 Season 13

Renee Bagley
On week 8 of "Dancing with the Stars" the remaining 5 couple had to perform two individual dances. With only five couples left time is running out quickly. Who is shocked that David Arquette went home, over Nancy Grace? I know I was. This may well be her week to go as she is at a disadvantage.

Round 1:

Rob Kardashian & Cheryl Burke - They are improving immensely and just like he said as he "feels the top couple slipping." Hold, posture, technique were spot on according to judge Len Goodman, who called it Kardashians' best dance so far. Quickstep and instant jive were their dances for the week. Judges scores on quickstep: 27 out of 30 (his highest score of the season)

Hope Solo & Maksim Chmerkovski - They danced the quickstep with grace and speed. Best of all this week the two didn't argue during rehearsals, which easily improved their dance. Bruno called it the "night of miracles," saying she danced so well, and he called it her best dance yet. Len called it a blend of speed and control and agreed with Bruno saying it was her best dance, and admitted she fulfilled her potential. Judges scores: 27 out of 30

Ricki Lake & Derek Hough - They have continually made the top of the judges leader board. This week they danced the waltz with ease. Len called it beautifully executed. Judges scores: 28 out of 30

Nancy Grace & Tristan Macmanus - They danced the tango and it was just boring. Len said week 2 she did her best dance, and since then she has been on a plateau and he said up she has gone... Judges scores: 24 out of 30

J.R. Martinez & Karina Smirnoff - They have topped the leader board most of this season, and J.R. has shown he is a natural dancer. This week they danced the waltz with grace. J.R. is showing himself to be perhaps, the best dancer this season. Judges scores: 30 out of 30 (for the first perfect score all season)

Len Goodman said the instant dance removes the safety net because they only get 20 minutes to learn the dance, whereas in rehearsals they know to do a certain move during a particular part of the song. That is gone now and we will see who has the most natural dancing ability. All songs were chosen out of a hat for round 2. This is where things get difficult.

Round 2: Instant Jives performed with only 20 minutes to prepare with each song.

Rob & Cheryl - They danced the instant jive and had fun with their routine. He really is getting good. Judges scores: 24 out of 30, for a total score of 51 out of 60.

Hope & Maksim - She danced the jive once before and it wasn't her best dance, so this is her small chance at redemption. They kept at a fast speed throughout and did a great job. Judges scores: 25 out of 30= 52 out of 60 for the total score.

Ricki & Derek - They did well she sure can move and flick those feet. The judges busted her on a couple of moments were she seemed to get lost and stopped performing, whereas Derek kept doing double time. Judges scores: 24 out of 30 = total of 52 out of 60.

Nancy & Tristan - Their jive was very slow and out of time. I give Nancy props for being an older lady in the competition, but her time is just limited. Judges scores: 20 out of 30 = for a total of 44 out of 60.

J.R. & Karina
- Their jive was everything I expected: full of technique, fun, fast, and passionate. I think J.R. (or maybe Rob or Ricki) could win this entire season. Loved it! Judges scores: 30 out of 30 for a total of 60 out of 60- a perfect score!
