On a Day of Work
Wondering what your doing, and if everything is fine.
Most days I think, but other times I wonder,
I guess these are the many things, a guys left with to ponder.
How was your day, and were things fine,
I thought about you a good deal today, and I'm glad to say your mine.
The time sure went slow, but thats just from me thinking of you,
Sometimes I catch myself day dreaming, not knowing what to do.
I try to clear my thoughts, I try to work on the task ahead,
But the same old feelings for you, keep running there instead.
The boss comes up to me, wonders If somethings wrong,
I sign to him I'm fine, but never tell him where my heads gone.
But thats just a part of life, life where much of our thoughts belong,
Always feeling that maybe things aren't right, that maybe somethings wrong.
