I am aware that time sneaks....
before you know it, you are 30, 40, 50
Without ever making the CD.

On the heartbeat of this new morning
I need to come into reality
Get some clarity.
What needs to be accomplished this week?
Can I call some directors of photography and set up some time to meet?
Do I need to talk to God and get clear about the direction of my feet?
Because before I know it,
Monday turns into another week

On the heartbeat of this new morning
As the sun is dawning
I shake off yesterday
It does not matter how much
time I let slip away.
I can live in a
a new way.
Dance to a new beat
Be highly motivated
instantly...
Because
Monday turns into another week.

I remember that in life,
we either live "reasons, or results!"
Reasons don't count.
Results happen when I -
Write down the dream
Give it a deadline
Do one thing a day..
And when
Monday turns into another week
I can look at my calender
and admire my time mastery.

I called an agent,
I bought the Writer's Market Guide 2008,
I really sought God for Divine clear direction,
I sent a query letter to a publishing company,
I held a casting call,
I printed my poems,
I got some black and whites done.

On the heartbeat of this new morning
I set an intention
for divine intervention
God, if you created the world in 7 days
And I am made in your image
then there is no limit to -
How high I can rise...
The mountains I can climb...
The heights I can ride
By this time next week.
