On Jay Leno, Barack Obama Makes a Joke About the Special Olympics (Video Link)

In celebrity news today, Barack Obama makes an appearance and Special Olympics gaffe on Jay Leno; Fred Durst dishes on his relationship with Britney Spears.

Barack Obama's Jay Leno appearance

Obama made history last night when he went on the Jay Leno show. Obama was entertaining to watch on Leno but, did he make a mistake in judgment?

Obama was telling Leno about the White House bowling alley and how he's been practicing and announced he bowled a 129. He said his score was "like Special Olympics or something."

Was that a good thing for our President to say? Barack Obama has now been issued a challenge by Special Olympics bowler Kolan McConiughey. TMZ has reported Kolan McConiughey has challenged Obama to a bowling game at the White House.

Obama has apologized to Special Olympics chairman Tim Shriver for making a joke. USA Today reported that Tim Shriver said "words hurt and words do matter and these words that in some respect can be seen as humiliating ... do cause pain." He also said he believed Barack Obama was sincere in his apology.

Fred Durst dishes about Britney Spears

Fred Durst tells MTV news about his 2003 relationship with Britney Spears. Britney Spears always seemed to deny they ever had a relationship back in 2003. Fred Durst seems to really have had feelings for her at the time. I can only wonder if Britney thought she was too good for Durst or maybe her people thought she was. Looking back, I think Fred Durst would have been good for her. I think Fred Durst was too good for Britney.
