On the Owners of This Country

The proprietors of this country, and I say proprietors because it is business in the sense the mafia says 'it's just business' when they wack out a wise guy, has all of us tied up in knots wildly swinging our collective Wiffle bats at a bunch of very carefully placed lies, some so old we sometimes believe them as truth.

You are working for the man, unless you are the man and these men number few. The lynchpin of the American dream, the single family home, an energy gulping cardboard box of farts and social dysfunction is only an asset to the holder of the lien and these lien holders and players in mortgage backed securities got caught holding bad assets because they oversold a lie. Dat so.

Industry is sitting on two trillion dollars in capital yet the UP rate sits at around 9.7. They've got Barry by the balls. If the banks won't lend (selectively) and business won't spend (selectively) then we have not only market but an attempt at political manipulation.

Even your treasured family is but a ploy to keep your ass strapped to the meat wheel. Men used to strive but now they sell out at the first offer. It's become impolite to dream but acceptable to wish and want. Even if you are an unabashed tool you must ask 'what is it I am helping to build?'

My nephew asks me, "How can I make more money?" I answer him honestly, "Son, learn to lie."

It's not that we are stupid, though on average we are a bit thick, its more a fact of laziness. Get rid of laziness, stupidity and boredom and you've solved the obesity and our economic problems.

The age old societal problem has always been the same, "We are killing all the wrong people." We are many millennia away from progressing from our animally.

Truthfully speaking, you are fucked.

I have a glimmer of optimism because I am a writer and believe in omniscient power. Maybe someone will make a better lie.
