On September 1 2006 Blogs and Web Site Around the World Will Call for Impeachment

Here's How to Join in

Timothy Sexton
Impeachnet.net is calling on all supporters of freedom, civil rights, intelligence and peace to do something special for 24 hours beginning at noon eastern time on September 1. Simply replace the home page of your web site or blog with one image. A black background and white letters saying simply Impeach.

Go here to find out more and get the html code.

What is the use, you ask? What will it accomplish? Nothing. Except for showing how much support is out there for removal of the criminal in the White House. Nothing, except perhaps getting whatever distracting celebrity news that will take away from the crimes of Bush on September 1 pushed back down the list of stories covered on the news as the conservative media finds themselves unable to ignore this real news when every reporter is faced with the word impeachment when he's surfing the net looking for information on Scott Peterson's wife's bathroom habits.

It is designed solely to bring to the public consciousness the fact that the leader of our country has committed innumerable impeachable offenses, yet so far has faced less Congressional oversight for the real crimes committed while President than Bill Clinton faced for the crimes he never committed in the Whitewater affair before becoming President .

What a sad state of affairs that our GOP-controlled Congress has spent less than one one-hundredth the amount of money investigating the crimes of Pres. Bush than they did investigating a land deal in Arkansas. Still proud of your Congressman? Still want to send him or her back for another shot at destroying America?

Impeach.

Now.

All of them.

I'm doing it on my website, neopagan.net. The more the memeier. Do you mind if I turn "Impeach. Now. All of them." into a bumpersticker?

Who care who won Florida? That's the freaking problem with this supid electoral system we have. The undisputed fact is that Gore won America. And since Bush is President of America and not just Florida, the will of the people were ignored by the Supreme Court. They had their chance to begin a process which would lead to the abolishment of a system for electing the leader of a country in which, potentially, one single vote in Rhode Island could give the Presidency to a candidate that loses the popular vote by a million or more. I don't give a flying crap who did or didn't win Florida in 2000. If you want your President to keep going on and about bringing democracy to other countries, keep in mind that we don't even have it here!

George. With all due respect. Every media outlet on election night was announcing that GORE won and even adding, "thus has won the 2000 presidential election". Then FOX news (headed by Bush's first cousin BTW) made an announcement that BUSH had won. Then NBC, CNN, CBS, and ABC all came back and said, "we made a mistake, sorry, BUSH won if Florida". Something fishy.

George, you are mistaken in your facts. When the votes were actually counted, Gore won Florida. The only way in which Bush would have won would be to discard clearly legible votes. I suggest you check your sources.

Count me in. You're right Tim, the Supreme Court elected Bush in 2000, the American people elected Gore. As for the second time, I can't recall who it was but in history, there were only 1 or two past presidents who ran for re-election and lost. The reason why Bush was re-elected was because in most cases, the undecided voter will just vote for who ever is currently IN office. That's why Bush won the second time. It will take DECADES likely to fix the mess that the Bush admin has made. Possibly, it will NEVER be fixed. God help us all.

Hey Bradish, just for the record, the AMERICAN PEOPLE did not elect Bush twice. The Supreme Court appointed Bush President over the will of the majority of Americans in 2000. I know you guys don't like to be reminded of that fact and you will call it whining, but facts are facts. If America was really a democracy, Bush would be failing at some other job right now.

What a freak! Referring to dead woman, not by her name but by her accused murderers name and bad mouthing a man because they did not have the brass to elect one of their own. You liberals are all the same, absolutely no moral basis for decision making or common decency. Get over yourselves and grow up!

You guys ever feel like when you vote, you are only voting for which jailer you like best?
