On the Square
Walk with the old folks,
carry the lame and
the little children too.
Line up the school kids,
they also are forgotten
and want to be known.
Come to the town square
one and all
elicit the anger
and when you are beaten
know you have won.
These young ones
will remain
endure the winter
bloom in spring.
