On Tiger Woods: When it Rains, it Pours!

The cellular phone company hasn't used Woods' image that much in their advertising, except for the company's logo appeared on Tiger's golf bag. The supposed to be "multi-year" agreement was executed sometime early in 2009.

Earlier Swiss watch maker Tag Heuer said they will no longer use Tiger Woods image in their advertising campaigns anywhere in the United States for the foreseeable future.

Tag Heuer's Chief Executive Officer Jean-Christophe Babin admitted that the company's decision was influenced by "recent events" surrounding Woods.

Prior to this Accenture, a major sponsor for Tiger Woods announced sometime early December that they are dropping the golf star in light of recent controversies swirling around his personal life.

Even Golf Digest seemed to have joined the band of leaving Woods and quite cutting their association with him. Although, they will keep Tiger as one of the magazine's masthead Playing Editor, they will temporarily suspend his monthly instructional columns, while the golfer is said to be on "indefinite leave" from golf.

"Golf Digest has had a long-standing relationship with Tiger Woods to provide instruction articles for the magazine, and we do not have any plans to change that," the magazine said in a statement according to the Associated Press. "We respect Tiger's decision to take a break from professional golf and focus on his family;
Tiger's bylined instruction articles will not be published in Golf Digest during his time away from the game."

With all these turn of events, it only shows how important for a celebrity to uphold a clean image to do well in this business. Although, Tiger indeed had already made lots of monies, it is still sad to see people; business partners withdrawing from him because of his alleged "transgressions".

On little lighter note, although, speculations of divorce is still very much up, Tiger's wife Elin Nordegren remains silent to all the rumors.

She was photographed without her wedding ring on her finger, but, other than that, everybody remains to be clueless of what Elin is up to.

Some says, she is shopping for the best divorce attorney, and others say she's actually waiting for all the dirty linen to come out against Tiger. Yet, none of all these are confirmed.

And, come to think of it, with Tiger's admittance alone, Elin has enough grounds to file a case, or a divorce for that matter, only if Mrs. Woods is really up to it.

It's a good thing that while bad news against Tiger keep pouring, he was still voted as male player of the year by the Golf Writers Association of America by an overwhelming margin over Steve Stricker on Thursday, with most ballots returned after he got into the messy scandals.

It was his 10th award from the association for his 13 years as a pro.
